About the Role

Product Development and Growth

  • Plan, position, develop, and grow key network services by assessing market demand and managing the development of new capabilities to support the telecommunications ecosystem.

  • Shape products that meet market needs in a competitive environment and ensure that GSMA services increase their effectiveness.

  • Drive product vision and strategy, liaising with key external and internal stakeholders to ensure optimal delivery.

  • Drive product prioritization and pre- and post-release execution.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Manage complex relationships with stakeholders, including customers, GSMA members, partners, and internal leaders.

  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand business and product needs and translate them into clear product requirements.

  • Engage our partners and customers for their feedback, understanding the current and future capabilities of our services to identify new features.

Customer Advocacy

  • Encourage satisfied customers to become advocates, providing testimonials, case studies, or referrals.

  • Work closely with marketing to highlight customer success stories.

User Base Expansion and Operations

  • Expand the user base by leveraging our sales, marketing, and external fulfillment partner capabilities to meet targets covering adoption, usage, revenue, and expense.

  • Manage product reporting, analytics, and general operations for the assigned services.

About You

Product Management

  • Demonstrable experience in managing a product or service, including defining the commercial proposition, managing development, and overseeing operations.

  • Prior experience working within a cross-functional team and achieving financial and operational targets.

  • Advocate for customers internally, understanding their problems, needs, and purchase criteria, and providing insights to sales and marketing to enhance campaigns.

  • Ensure GSMA's service quality meets customer expectations, manage incidents, and ensure external partners fulfill their obligations.

Technical Background

  • Track record of building robust, scalable, and easy-to-use services and owning experience for your external customers.

  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and project management.

  • Understanding of the mobile industry, particularly in managing networks, procurement, delivering APIs, and data integration with end customers.

  • Passionate about understanding new trends and cutting-edge technologies.

Subject matter expertise

  • Preferably experienced in telecom networks, having a broad knowledge of the processes, players and strengths and weaknesses of legacy and current products available in the market.

  • Preferable understanding of how mobile operators can collaborate through GSMA services to improve their network operations.
