We are looking to hire an experienced full-life cycle Recruiter to support the organization through its growth in Japan. You'll be a driving force in building and executing the talent strategy, partnering with key stakeholders, and hiring top talent. This role will allow you to build positive relationships, exude our values, and contribute to our org-wide recruiting best practices and processes.  

This is a full time role in our Tokyo office, within a hybrid environment.

What you'll do at Figma:

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting processes for our business organizations, in particular, go to market functions like sales and marketing
  • Partner with leaders to develop top of funnel strategies for key roles
  • Source and build healthy, representative pipelines to engage passive talent including cold outreach and events, while also effectively handling inbound applications and referrals
  • Leverage data to inform your hiring strategy and articulate these insights to executives in order to influence and drive positive change
  • Identify, conceptualize, and drive business improvement initiatives

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • 6+ years of full-cycle in house recruiting experience in a high growth business 
  • Experience partnering with senior executives on high volume searches in go to market organizations
  • Expert knowledge of the SaaS / scaling tech landscape, particularly in the local market
  • Advanced sourcing and passive engagement skills
  • Ability to build a talent strategy alongside your hiring managers, while delivering an exceptional candidate experience
  • Native-level Japanese and full English fluency

While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:

  • Experience hiring in other countries across APAC
  • Korean language proficiency
