Recruitment of a Consultant firm to provide HR, audit and legal support for CIVIC Benin office

Background and Rationale:

Center for Civilians in Conflict (CIVIC) is an international nonprofit with offices around the world working to improve protection for civilians caught in conflict zones. CIVIC envisions a world in which no civilian is harmed in conflict. Our mission is to support communities affected by conflict in their quest for protection and strengthen the resolve and capacity of armed actors to prevent and respond to civilian harm. Present in West Africa since 2016, CIVIC implements programs to strengthen the integration of Protection of Civilians (POC) into the practices of defense and security forces, improve civil-military relations, and promote people-centered approaches to security. In Benin, CIVIC supports efforts to strengthen the community engagement of the Defence and Security Forces. d.

CIVIC wishes to recruit a qualified consultant firm to provide HR, audit and legal support for CIVIC Benin office.

General objective :

CIVIC Benin seeks a firm or consortium of firms that can support delivery of HR management system support, ensure compliance to regulatory expectations in Benin and conduct annual financial audit.

Methodology: As agreed between both parties to ensure objectives are met.

Expected deliverables:

• Support monthly HR preparations and compliance with government regulations. • Annual audit as required by regulation. • Legal counsel on regulations, registration, taxes any other issue.

Duration of the mission:

6-months contract, renewable based on performance

Desired profile:

• More than 5 years experience delivering similar services in Benin. • Legally registered and tax complaint in Benin • Evidence of providing similar services. Working with INGO an added advantage.
