  • Recommending improvements to strengthen controls and drive continuous improvement

In addition, you will support the preparation of management reports for the Audit and Risk Committee and Leadership Team, enabling informed, risk-based decision-making.

About your Skills

Analysis – Fundamental for maintaining a robust risk and compliance framework. This role requires strong analytical capability to interpret laws, regulations, and internal policies, assess compliance risks, and evaluate the effectiveness of controls. Analysis supports compliance monitoring, audit activities, and the identification of gaps, enabling well-informed recommendations that ensure adherence to legal and regulatory obligations.

Communication – Critical for promoting understanding and adherence to compliance requirements across the organisation. The role demands the ability to translate complex regulatory expectations and policies into clear, practical guidance for employees at all levels. Strong communication skills are also essential for delivering engaging compliance training, drafting policies, and reporting on compliance matters to senior leadership.

Stakeholder Management – Essential for embedding risk and compliance into business operations. Effective stakeholder management supports collaboration, encourages ownership of compliance responsibilities, and strengthens organisational accountability.

Influence is particularly important when advising leadership, promoting ethical standards, and ensuring consistent application of risk and compliance controls across the organisation.

Delivery – Crucial for the effective implementation of risk and compliance initiatives. The role involves designing and maintaining policies, rolling out training programmes, supporting investigations, and overseeing monitoring activities. Strong delivery skills ensure that these initiatives are executed efficiently, consistently, and to a high standard, supporting continuous improvement in the organisation’s compliance programme.
