Job Title: Senior Email Marketing Specialist


Position Summary:

This position at The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (“the Foundation”) supports the execution of email marketing strategy by managing campaign intake, reinforcing best practices, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders.  This role serves as a key partner to campaign stakeholders across the organization, helping shape and prepare email requests, so they are clearly defined, strategically aligned, and ready for execution. Supporting the Director of Email Marketing and working closely with Automation and Analytics teams, this position plays a critical part in scaling a more structured and effective approach to email marketing


Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Intake & Stakeholder Partnership 

  • Serve as a primary strategic partner for email campaign intake across business units, working in close partnership with the Marketing Automation team 
  • Partner with stakeholders to shape requests, clarify objectives, and align on audience, timing, and goals
  • Provide guidance on best practices to ensure alignment with established email strategy and frameworks  

Campaign Readiness & Coordination 

  • Review incoming requests for completeness, clarity, and alignment with broader lifecycle journeys  
  • Help ensure campaigns are fully scoped, strategically aligned, and execution-ready in partnership with the Marketing Automation team
  • Coordinate across internal and external stakeholders to support efficient execution  

Workflow & Process Management 

  • Manage and track incoming requests against the campaign calendar  
  • Identify and escalate gaps, conflicts, and risks in planning and intake  
  • Support ongoing improvements to intake processes and workflow efficiency  

Governance & Best Practices 

  • Reinforce standards and ensure consistency in email planning and activation across business units  
  • Flag deviations and recommend adjustments to maintain quality and alignment  

Performance & Optimization Support 

  • Partner with Analytics team to track inputs, surface trends, and support testing initiatives  
  • Help incorporate insights into future campaign planning and intake 


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Relevant experience in email marketing, digital marketing, or campaign operations   
  • Relevant experience supporting or working within lifecycle or journey-based email marketing strategies  
  • Strong understanding of email marketing principles, including audience segmentation, targeting, and campaign planning   
  • Experience working with email platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, or Iterable   
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines   
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally   
  • Ability to identify gaps, solve problems, and drive work forward independently within established frameworks   
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and consistency 

 

Compensation & Benefits
Individual compensation for this role is dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, skillsets, and applicable laws.  In addition to salary, the Foundation offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:

Salary Range
$95,000$115,000 USD
