The LA28 organizing committee is an independent, non-profit organization that is privately funded and governed by a board of directors.
The Sr. Manager for Security Risk Management & Analysis is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive physical security risk management frameworks. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills for applying best-practice methodologies for threat and risk assessments and mitigations to safeguard people, assets, and operations. This role will provide critical collaboration with physical security operations, business management, org-wide Risk Management, emergency response planning, intelligence, and other security operational planning efforts. This role will help ensure an effective, scalable, and resilient security program.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional with a strong background in public and/or private sector security experience and strategic program development.
A strong sense of Mission is a must. This role requires a keen ability to manage complexity in a high-stake, high-standards environment. This individual will work closely with Security leadership and cross-functional partners across the organization. This role will report to the Sr. Director for Physical Security, Business Management, and Risk.

7+ years of experience in public and/or private sector safety & security (and ideally both preferred) involving security risk management and mitigation strategies.
Experience in standing-up new capabilities based on best-practice and applying proven techniques.
Proven experience in developing user-friendly frameworks and approaches for assessing complex information.
Experience working in fast-paced environments.
The position is in Los Angeles with in-person attendance required.
The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.
The LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment.
The annual base salary range for this position is $105,000-$140,000. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs and applicable law.
