Want to help us help others? We’re hiring!

GoFundMe is the world’s most powerful community for good, dedicated to helping people help each other. By uniting individuals and nonprofits in one place, GoFundMe makes it easy and safe for people to ask for help and support causes—for themselves and each other. Together, our community has raised more than $40 billion since 2010.

Join us! The GoFundMe team is searching for a Senior Paid Media Manager to drive global consumer growth through strategic, data-informed, and creative paid media execution.

You’ll be a player-coach who combines analytical rigor, creative experimentation, and global perspective to lead performance marketing across search, social, display, and emerging channels. You’ll partner closely with Data, Product, Brand, and Product Marketing teams to ensure GoFundMe’s paid media programs fuel both short-term acquisition and long-term brand growth.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, balances strategic depth with executional excellence, and enjoys turning insights into scalable impact across multiple geographies.

The Job:

  • Deliver GoFundMe’s global paid media strategy, overseeing planning, execution, and optimization across SEM, paid social, display, video, and programmatic.
  • Drive measurable business outcomes - growing new fundraiser starts, donors, and repeat engagement while maintaining strong ROI and efficiency targets and working closely with the organic teams.
  • Lead cross-market campaigns, balancing global consistency with local relevance across North America, Europe, and emerging international markets.
  • Champion experimentation and growth science, using A/B testing, geo-lift, and incrementality frameworks to uncover new opportunities and reduce reliance on last-click metrics.
  • Collaborate with Product and CRM to create seamless user journeys that bridge acquisition, activation, and re-engagement.
  • Partner with Data Science and Finance on forecasting, attribution modeling, and media mix optimization; translate insights into clear business recommendations.
  • Build and manage relationships with media agencies and platform partners, ensuring operational excellence, innovation, and cost efficiency.
  • Develop creative testing frameworks with Brand and Creative teams to identify high-performing messages and formats that drive emotional and behavioral response.
  • Monitor, report, and communicate performance regularly to senior leadership — connecting campaign results to overall business impact.
  • Ensure all campaigns meet privacy and compliance standards, including GDPR, CCPA, and internal governance policies.

You:

  • 6–8 years of hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns in a fast-paced, high-growth B2C or mission-driven environment.
  • Proven success leading multi-channel media portfolios across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and programmatic platforms.
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills - able to connect channel performance to business outcomes and tell the story behind the numbers.
Experience running campaigns across multiple markets with cultural and regulatory nuance.
  • Deep understanding of creative testing, audience segmentation, and attribution.
  • Flexible and resourceful - thrives in ambiguity, comfortable moving between strategic planning and in-platform optimization.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills; strong ability to align diverse stakeholders around a shared vision.
Passionate about experimentation and continuous improvement.
  • Bonus: Experience in nonprofit, social impact, or community-focused brands.
