The Team

We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager (Sr. TPM) to join the Global Technology Operations (GTO) Team. Our team's mission is to deliver the core technology capabilities for the foundation through innovation paired with operational excellence. We aspire to be dynamic, collaborative, technology leaders enabling mission impact with the highest standards of integrity. The Senior Technical Program Manager is focused on the strategy, design, and implementation of productivity and collaboration services that enable us to support the foundation in achieving its goals.

Your Role

As a Technical Program Manager supporting AV Experiences and Collaboration Services, you will provide structure, continuity, and trusted leadership across the foundation’s global collaboration technology ecosystem. You will deliver seamless onsite, hybrid, virtual, and event experiences that enable employees and partners to collaborate effectively across countries, regions, and functional areas.

At its core, this role is accountable for the program rigor required to deliver AV and collaboration capabilities at scale. You will handle budgets, timelines, project plans, prioritization, resource allocation, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment. You will translate business needs into actionable delivery plans, bring clarity to competing priorities, and ensure work is driven with clear ownership, strong governance, and measurable outcomes.

You will provide global oversight of the AV-enabled technology experience, partnering closely with AV engineering, IT, Facilities, Space Planning, Communications, Events, regional offices, and external vendors. You will build trust with a diverse set of stakeholders and help ensure that collaboration environments are reliable, inclusive, accessible, and easy to use.

You will define, manage, and continuously improve equitable standards for meeting rooms, event spaces, hybrid collaboration environments, and related AV services. This includes balancing global consistency with regional needs, local operating constraints, and the foundation’s expectations for high-quality collaboration experiences.

This role requires strong project oversight, executive-ready communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to operate across a complex global environment. International travel is required to support regional engagement, stakeholder alignment, and delivery of consistent collaboration standards across foundation locations. This role is Seattle based and required to be onsite at least 50% of the time.

What You’ll Do

  • Global Collaboration Experience Strategy. Provide oversight of the end-to-end AV-enabled collaboration experience across countries, offices, meeting & event spaces, and functional areas. Identify gaps in the collaboration experience and partner across Operation teams to improve quality, usability, accessibility, reliability, and security consistency.

  • Own Service Roadmap, Standards, and Lifecycle Planning. Define, evolve, and lead the AV service strategy to support high-quality onsite, hybrid, virtual, and event experiences across the organization. Run lifecycle plans, refresh strategies, technology standards, and investment recommendations that balance business priorities, staff needs, regional requirements, equitable access, and operational sustainability.

  • Manage Programs, Budgets, Resources, and Vendors. Lead the planning and delivery of AV and collaboration technology programs, including upgrades, service improvements, and large-scale refresh initiatives. Lead program budgets, timelines, project plans, prioritization, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent workstreams. Coordinate with external vendors and internal partners to support delivery, service quality, roadmap execution, major incidents, lifecycle planning, and continuous improvement.

  • Oversee AV Technology Governance and Optimization. Provide strategic oversight for the foundation’s AV technology ecosystem, including conferencing platforms, room systems, event production tools, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and other collaboration technologies. Drive governance, standardization, and optimization to ensure consistent, scalable, secure, and high-quality global experience.

  • Engage Executives and Cross-Functional Stakeholders. Serve as a trusted connection point between business needs and technical delivery across AV engineering, IT, Facilities, Space Planning, Communications, Events, regional offices, leadership teams, and external vendors. Develop clear strategy materials, roadmap updates, and project updates that clearly articulate priorities, progress, risks, tradeoffs, and required decisions.

  • Enable Adoption, Change Management, and Continuous Improvement. Develop change management and adoption plans that enable consistent, high-quality use of AV and collaboration technologies across the foundation. Monitor service health, staff feedback, incident trends, recurring issues, adoption patterns, and collaborator input to find opportunities for improvement. Lead or support problem management and major incident coordination for AV and collaboration services. Stay informed on workplace technology, AV, hybrid collaboration, event delivery, and AI-enabled collaboration trends, bringing forward practical recommendations that improve the foundation’s collaboration experience.

Your Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of proven experience in technical program management, project management, service management, workplace technology, AV, or IT.

  • Experience leading cross-functional programs across operations and engineering teams.

  • Solid understanding of enterprise AV and collaboration technologies, including room systems, hybrid meeting environments, conferencing platforms, Microsoft Teams, and related collaboration tools.

  • Experience running program budgets, timelines, scope, risks, dependencies, prioritization, resource planning, and delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to create executive-ready materials and translate technical concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, influence without authority, build consensus, and establish trust across diverse stakeholder groups.

  • Experience delivering staff-centered solutions and improving service quality, adoption, usability, reliability, and operational excellence.

  • Ability to travel internationally as needed to support global experience, stakeholder alignment, and consistent collaboration standards.
