We are building a more accessible, more impactful model of higher education. We are a fast-growing, mission-driven organisation creating transformational global experiences.

✨ About the Role
The Specialist, Post-Verto Planning (PVP) is a Florence-based role dedicated to empowering students to confidently navigate their next steps after Verto through individualized guidance, strategic planning, and dedicated support —equipping them to pursue their goals with clarity and purpose. This position focuses on the Post-Verto Strategy (individualized guidance) and the Post-Verto Plan (the final pathway).

Reporting to the Manager, Post-Verto Planning, this position will support the execution of PVP programming at the location, ensuring every student—whether Channel or Traditional—leaves Verto with a clear, documented, and achievable next step.

šŸš€ What You’ll Be Doing

1. Strategic Individualized Advising

  • Case Management: Own a portion of the location’s PVP caseload, specifically managing students interested in applying to Verto’s Direct Transfer partners.
  • Strategy Implementation: Conduct Post-Verto strategy conversations with students, focusing on their Channel program requirements, Direct Transfer goals, or support of independent college applications.
  • 1:1 Support: Conduct 1:1 sessions to provide DT partner recommendations, career interest exploration, and major alignment.
  • Verto Continuation Support: Advising students with regard to Verto’s Associate’s Abroad Global Pathway. Robust semester close-out support to maintain engagement for multi-semester students and support their transition to their next Verto location.
  • Academic Support: Support schedule and Census auditing for Channel students, approve Channel add/drop requests, and conduct midterm academic reviews with other team members. Support local tutoring coordination and advising, including "off-trackā€ students, international students, and those in the Low GPA Pathway.

2. Application & Pipeline Management

  • Verto Direct Transfer (DT): Accountable for the movement of Verto DT Applications through the pipeline, including initial vetting for eligibility and completeness.
  • Documentation: Ensure 100% accuracy in Salesforce for student strategies and final Post-Verto Plans to meet global Key Performance Indicator targets.

3. Programming & Group Engagement

  • Workshops & Events: Support Orientation/Discovery Sessions, DT Application workshops, and Channel-specific advising sessions.
  • Partner Engagement: Support coordination of university partner site visits and facilitate student participation in pre-departure and onsite webinars to increase partner-to-student interaction.
  • Peer Learning: Develop and moderate onsite "Channel Communities" to encourage best-practice sharing and community engagement among students.

4. Leadership & Collaboration

  • SSA Mentorship: Work with Student Success Advisors (SSAs) on initial PVP 1:1 conversations with students, course audit support, and Salesforce documentation.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with University Partnerships (UP) Verto Headquarters on programming development, and partner with Account Managers to ensure partner expectations are met.
  • Operational Efficiency: Support "Melt" tracking by identifying students who cancel additional semesters and streamlining end-of-semester plans.
