Job Description

At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

We are hiring a Sr Manager based in Bangalore to lead a multi-disciplinary team of practitioners across three pillars - Finance Technology & Platforms, Data, and COE - under the Center of Ops Innovation (COI). The COI is LinkedIn's central engine for Finance modernization which brings Technology Strategy & Architecture, Finance Systems & Technology (FSTECH), Data Strategy, Center of Excellence (COE), and the delivery teams supporting Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Sourcing, and Strategic Finance into a single operating model. COI's mandate is to shape the Finance technology blueprint, drive automation and AI, and partner with Process Owners and business leadership to translate strategy into shipped outcomes.

This is a people leadership role with a builder's mindset: you will own talent, delivery quality, and operational rigor for the India practitioner team that powers LinkedIn's most strategic Finance transformation programs. You will partner closely with US-based COI leadership to operate as one global team - owning local execution, talent depth, and quality, and positioning India as a strategic engine of COI rather than a delivery support function.

An ideal candidate will be a hands-on people leader who thinks in systems and ships through teams, is comfortable spanning three practitioner disciplines without needing to be the deepest expert in each, brings value in setting standards, removing blockers, building bench, and orchestrating across geographies. If you hold a high quality bar, take ownership across pillar boundaries, and treat India as a strategic node of global COI, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. People & Team Leadership

Lead, coach, and grow a cross-pillar team of practitioners spanning Finance Technology & Platforms (Finance systems, low-code, automation, AI ), Data (analytics, modeling, reporting), and COE (process excellence, controls, governance, continuous improvement).
Own hiring, performance management, career development, and succession planning for the India team.
Build a single team culture across all three pillars - shared standards, shared accountability, shared bench.

2. Delivery & Operating Cadence

Run the operating cadence for the India practitioner team: capacity planning, workload allocation, quality reviews, and dependency management with US leads.
Ensure on-time, on-quality delivery across active programs
Establish transformation and quality discipline appropriate to each pillar

3. Cross-Pillar Orchestration

Act as the single India anchor across Finance Technology & Platforms, Data, and COE - preventing fragmentation, surfacing dependencies early, and ensuring the team operates as one unit.
Partner with COI pillar leads (Technology Strategy & Architecture, Finance Digital Frontier, Data, COE & Innovations, and the Delivery teams) to align India capacity with global priorities.

4. Stakeholder Partnership

Build trusted relationships with Process Owners, Finance leadership, and Engineering partners.
Represent the India team in program governance and steering forums.
Translate priorities, trade-offs, and risks clearly across time zones and functional boundaries.5.

5. Talent Strategy

Develop the India talent strategy across all three disciplines - building bench depth, Business fluency in AI and automation, and a pipeline for future senior roles.
Champion upskilling in emerging areas: Oracle ERP, AI/ML applied to Finance, low-code platforms, modern data tooling, and controls automation.
