The Walt Disney World Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team creates happiness for children and families, key stakeholders and nonprofit organizations throughout Central Florida and beyond.

In this role, you will support our CSR strategies and programs. The team operates cross-functionally in a dynamic environment, working on initiatives like cause marketing, philanthropy, workforce development, and Disney VoluntEARS.  

The Senior Specialist reports to the Senior Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility. 

Responsibilities  

  • Support CSR to implement a comprehensive strategy aligned with seasonal campaigns and initiatives, such as Disney’s Ultimate Toy Drive and Disney Grants. 
  • Collaborate across the business to align on priorities and champion CSR goals, objectives, and initiatives tied to community engagement. 
  • Develop, coordinate and organize programs and events that drive brand reputation. 
  • Support and coordinate outreach and engagement activations linked to philanthropic strategies. 
  • Partner across multiple teams in creative ways to achieve desired outcomes. 
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to reinforce our reputation as a great place to work, where everyone belongs. 
  • Administer, coordinate, and analyze metrics to support CSR programs and initiatives. 

Basic Qualifications 

  • 3+ years of professional experience with demonstrated success in CSR or communications, marketing, government relations, brand strategy, or related industry. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to prepare documents, briefs and overviews as well as effectively communicating with stakeholders.   
  • Proficient in cultivating strong relationships with key partners.
  • Experienced in event planning and coordination including programming, logistics, and working with various stakeholders.  
  • Project management experience including managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely execution and collaboration with other team members.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and partnering/networking skills.  
  • Positive demeanor and the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as a team member. 
  • Experience with workforce development and/or employee engagement programs.  
  • Skilled in MS Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint. 
  • Flexible schedule to include availability evenings, weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Understanding and knowledge of theme park/resort operations and processes. 
  • Experience leading internal/external events.  
  • Ability to speak multiple languages. 
  • Experience participating in volunteer activities within the community.   

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
