Team Description

Ads Measurements team’s mission is to enable advertisers to measure and verify the effectiveness and efficiency of their investments on Reddit using a complete toolkit of 1P and 3P measurement solutions, and provide prescriptive recommendations to enable clients to optimize the value of their investment.

At Reddit, the Ads Lift Measurement team is dedicated to enabling advertisers to accurately assess and enhance the real business impact of their advertising spend on our platform. We deliver clear, actionable insights via sophisticated measurement tools, including Brand Lift, Conversion Lift and Split Tests.

Our core function involves developing client-facing products and robust, scalable infrastructure. This foundation supports large-scale experimentation, rigorous causal inference, and informed, data-driven strategy. This work is vital to Reddit's advertising ecosystem, directly fueling both strategic business understanding and revenue expansion.

As a Staff Engineer, you will be expected to be the technical leader on the team and in the Ads Measurements organization. You must be able to take on ambiguous problems, design a solution, then lead other engineers in implementing that solution. You'll work on end-to-end product development and contribute to high-performance systems that measure and maximize ad effectiveness. You’ll collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and platform engineers to solve complex technical challenges that directly impact Reddit’'s advertisers and end users.

You must also be able to identify problems independently, not just be assigned work to complete. Excellent skills in designing maintainable, scalable distributed systems are a must. Finally, mentorship is a requirement, you would be expected to make the people around you better.
