The role

Assist the Talent Coordination team in engaging a volunteer community of over 100,000 language professionals, coordinating collaboration among volunteers and external contributors, and ensuring healthy growth of the community through timely and effective communication and coordination.

The intern will also support light administrative and coordination processes related to the onboarding and management of external collaborators (such as consultants, vendors, and partners), in close collaboration with the Talent Coordination Officer.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain effective communication with community members, ensuring they remain engaged and have a clear understanding of expectations
  • Assist with outreach to new community members, both strategically and in response to crisis
  • Support community members in their experience with CLEAR Global, and ensuring that various community programs and processes run efficiently
  • Carry out administrative tasks, data entry and data collection
  • Handle other community management tasks as assigned
  • Act in the best interest of the organization during the internship period
  • Support the organization and documentation of procurement- and onboarding-related processes (e.g. updating collaborator records, filing agreements, tracking onboarding progress).
  • Contribute to improving internal workflows by identifying small process gaps and suggesting practical solutions, in collaboration with the Talent Coordination Officer.
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in or recently graduated (within the last 2 years) from a University degree program (preferred degree in translation, communication, or a related field)
  • Fluent in spoken and written English; knowledge of other languages an advantage
  • Strong communication skills, with particular awareness of intercultural contexts
  • Previous experience in translation and/or interpreting (internships and volunteering are considered valid experiences) an advantage
  • Previous experience working with non-profit organizations an advantage
  • Familiarity with technology (with a special focus on translation and/or data entry tools) a plus
  • Interest in operational coordination, HR processes, or community management workflows is desirable.

  • Able to work during CET office hours - exception to this will have to be coordinated with the manager and the team in advance
