Job Description

Title: Technical Talent Sourcer

This role will be based in Bangalore, India.

As the next member of the Engineering Recruiting Team, you will work in a team-based environment and impact the way recruitment is handled at one of the most influential recruiting organizations in the world. We are looking for a passionate talent acquisition professional who knows how to deliver results while inspiring others around them.

Our sourcers play a vital and active role in the recruiting process. Sourcers work in partnership with a Recruiter to uncover, share, and deliver talent diverse candidates to our hiring teams. The Sourcers have the voice and empowerment to be successful. Sourcers “have a seat at the table” and drive conversations and strategy sessions with hiring managers and candidates.

In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating a pipeline of best-in-class R&D talent for LinkedIn through innovative outreach methods. You will work to reduce the time it takes to fill each position while continually striving to improve the satisfaction of your hiring managers.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

Responsibilities:

Sourcing Execution

Develops a consistent and efficient workflow to maximize sourcing efforts.
Aligns with recruiters to understand hiring timeline and expectations.
Utilizes basic understanding of tools to identify qualified candidates based on business need.
Screens potential candidate pool, and updates candidate status and relevant feedback within the applicant tracking system throughout the hiring process.
Ensures timely, transparent communication with candidates and delivers a positive interview experience strengthening the employer brand and turning candidates into promoters.
Analyzes interview and assessment outcomes to influence hiring decisions.
Identifies risks in the hiring process and uses data-driven insights to mitigate them early.
Adheres to sourcing processes and best practices and ensures accuracy of data in systems to enable reliable reporting, compliance, and decision-making.

Sourcing Strategy and Stakeholder Management

Learns specific business unit needs and skills for key roles.
Builds skill-based and inclusive hiring practices using sourcing insights, data, and conversion metrics.
Supports talent connection strategy and positive candidate experiences by contacting prospective candidates, engaging with active candidates, and nurturing passive candidates.
Applies artificial intelligence (AI) tools to streamline administrative tasks and seeks out ways to improve day-to-day efficiency.
Supports the functional team on partnerships and events that influence the talent pipeline.
Participates in Customer Zero pilots by testing prototypes, following guidance, and providing timely feedback on usability.
Supports components of projects across the function or business unit.
Actively seeks coaching and mentoring opportunities within and outside of immediate team, focusing on a growth mindset and a willingness to continuously upskill.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, human resources, sourcing, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with applicant tracking systems
Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or LinkedIn as a recruiting tool to attract passive talent
Experience as a master storyteller to attract and hire top talent
Experience being a strategic advisor on talent related matters
Strong understanding of talent and competency models, recruiting fundamentals, competitive market awareness and online/social media
Knowledge of the web/Internet market space, including trade journals, academic institutions, alumni associations and other sources of great candidates
Excellent communication, time management and negotiation skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with artificial intelligence (AI) tools to improve day-to-day efficiency.
