ABOUT LAW

Legal Action Worldwide (LAW) is an independent non-profit organisation comprised of human rights lawyers and jurists. working in fragile and conflict affected areas in Europe, Middle East, Africa and South Asia. We have a particular focus on gender equality and sexual and gender-based violence, rule of law and accountability, human rights and transformative justice, working to bring justice to those who need it most. In Ukraine, LAW has an office in Kyiv with 6 staff members.

LAW is currently seeking a qualified and experienced video production company to support the development and dissemination of a targeted awareness campaign promoting the Register of Damages for Ukraine.

Objective

The primary objective of this assignment is to produce a set of high-quality animated video materials that effectively communicate key messages and include a clear and compelling call to action, encouraging individuals to submit claims to the International Register of Damages. The videos should be engaging, accessible, and suitable for broad public dissemination.

Scope of Work

The selected video production company will be responsible for the full production cycle, including:

• Concept development and creative direction (in consultation with LAW and partner NGO OPORA)
• Animation production (classical and/or computer-generated animation)
• Voice-over production (in Ukrainian) with the option for adaptation and/or subtitling as required
• Editing, post-production, and final mastering
• Adaptation of content into required formats for different platforms
• Preparation of final deliverables in broadcast-ready and social media-ready formats

The consultant is also expected to ensure that the videos meet the technical and quality standards required for television broadcast and digital dissemination.

Deliverables

The selected company will produce the following:

• Two (2) video clips, each with a duration of 30–60 seconds
• Two (2) adapted/shortened versions for social media, each with a duration of 10–15 seconds

All deliverables must be approved by LAW and OPORA prior to finalization.

Distribution and Outreach

The video production company should have demonstrated capacity and experience in supporting the dissemination of video content through television platforms, in addition to digital and social media channels.

Timeline

• Assignment duration: Up to 30 calendar days from contract signature

Location

• The consultancy is expected to be conducted by a video production company based in Ukraine, with capacity to operate locally.

Rights and Ownership

• All intellectual property rights for the videos shall be fully transferred to Legal Action Worldwide (LAW) upon final payment.
• LAW retains full rights for unrestricted use, reproduction and distribution of the video materials across all platforms and media, without geographical or time limitations.
