We’re seeking an Account Manager to own all commercial opportunities for our existing customer base, including expansions, plan upgrades and renewals. You'll work closely with our Customer Success, Sales and Support teams to handle all inbound upgrades and contract renewals, as well as plug into our customer base to identify any commercial opportunities.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Experience with sales and/or account management at a high-growth SaaS company
- Proven track record selling into a new or existing customer base
- A high degree of comfort working with existing customers on product use, renewals and pricing
- A self-starter mentality, eager to uncover new growth opportunities
Key attributes:
- Commercial skills balanced with customer first mindset
- Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
- Obsessed with customer outcomes and accelerating company growth.
- Clear and concise communicator (verbally and in written form)
- Creator economy or SaaS experience is a plus.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Enterprise Expansions: Work closely with our Enterprise customers as they grow on beehiiv and move to higher-tiered plans.
- Renewals: Lead the renewal cycle with customers on annual plans
- Plan Upgrades: Work with non-Enterprise customers and help them move to Enterprise plans as they grow and mature.
- Revenue Recovery: Lead initiatives and customer communications to handle delinquent churn.
- Custom Pricing & Packages: Put together custom quotes for customers as needed
- Understanding Customer Needs: Partner closely with customers to understand their needs to drive growth and upgrades, and prevent churn.
- Getting Creative: There are countless commercial opportunities within our existing customer base; the right Account Manager will find them!
