Role Summary
ALX Africa is now seeking a highly motivated Entrepreneurship Program Intern to support the growing portfolio of founder programs, ecosystem initiatives, and startup support activities, working from our hub in Accra, Ghana.
Specific Responsibilities
- Program Operations Support: Assist with coordination and execution of entrepreneurship programs, including maintaining schedules, documentation, and operational trackers.
- Community Management: Support engagement with founder communities through communication channels, updates, and resource sharing.Support engagement with founder communities through communication channels and updates. - Recruitment Coordination: Assist with program application management, interview scheduling, and community outreach for founder recruitment.
- Events & Ecosystem Support: Help organise and execute founder events, workshops, networking sessions, and demo days.
- Hub & Project Support: Support startup coworking initiatives, hub utilisation tracking, and operational needs for special entrepreneurship projects. Skill Requirements - Essential
- Excellent organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for community engagement and program communications.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and general digital collaboration tools.
- Attention to detail and strong administrative discipline, especially when managing data and documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and support multiple stakeholders.
- Strong interest in entrepreneurship and innovation
Skill Requirements - Preferable
- Previous internship or experience supporting programs, events, or community initiatives.
- Experience with data tracking or reporting, including maintaining dashboards or program metrics. Experience with data tracking or dashboard reporting.
- Familiarity with collaboration and project management tools such as Slack, Notion, Airtable, or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting event planning or logistics for workshops, meetups, or community activations.
