Position Summary:
OceanX Education is seeking an Event Management Intern to support the 2026 OceanX Summit, a flagship event fostering collaboration, creativity, and action for ocean conservation. Held aboard the OceanXplorer in October 2026, the Summit brings together educators, scientists, artists, policymakers, and other stakeholders to amplify diverse voices and bridge knowledge gaps.
As an Event Management Intern, you will assist the project manager and event team throughout the full event lifecycle—including planning, coordination, execution, and post-event follow-up. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively across time zones with the OceanX team in New York and a wide range of internal and external partners.
This is a paid opportunity. This program will run from July through October and involves working approximately 40 hours per week. This opportunity operates on a hybrid work schedule in our Singapore office to allow for in-person meetings/collaboration. This role will require availability to overlap across time zones between our NY and Singapore offices.
