Media Development Investment Fund (MDIF) is seeking an IT Business Application Specialist to join our IT team. The Specialist will support, optimize, and enhance our core business systems across a globally distributed organization.

This role serves as a key bridge between business teams, IT, and external vendors, ensuring that applications effectively support finance, investment, HR, operations, and other core functions. You will play a central role in improving reporting, strengthening data governance, and advancing digitalization initiatives that increase efficiency and transparency across the organization.

Strong analytical skills, business process awareness, and the ability to translate operational needs into practical system solutions are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for supported business applications (ERP, CRM, HRIS, EDMS/DMS, etc.).
  • Provide functional support including configuration, access management, troubleshooting, reporting, and license oversight.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve issues and implement improvements.
  • Support process optimization and digitalization initiatives across departments.
  • Implement business-related software solutions in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Ensure proper documentation, data governance, and compliance with IT and data protection policies.
  • Provide user guidance and training, as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 - 5 years of experience in business application support, business systems administration, or enterprise systems management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration with IT focus, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated collaboration with finance, HR, operations, or investment teams.
  • Strong working knowledge of cloud-based enterprise platforms and SaaS environments.
  • Practical background in administering or supporting ERP, CRM, HRIS, EDMS/DMS, or comparable business-critical systems.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Experience translating business requirements into system configurations or enhancements is strongly preferred.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Willingness and ability to travel periodically to MDIF offices and other locations, as required.
