Center for Civilians in Conflict (CIVIC) Center is an international nonprofit and nongovernmental organization with offices around the world working to improve protection for civilians in conflict zones. About the Position
The Junior Communications Officer (Events and Visibility) will contribute to raising the organisation’s profile and enhancing its resource mobilization capacity by supporting and coordinating external initiatives (Speaking opportunities, trainings and workshops, gatherings,…) and developing communications friendly content to advance philanthropy and fundraising efforts. This hybrid role bridges external communications and donor engagement, ensuring CIVIC’s name and brand are increasingly known across audiences, primarily donors and supporters.
The ideal candidate will be a junior and versatile project and/or coordination officer with an understanding of humanitarian issues, and demonstratable outward facing responsibilities.
This is a part time role (60%) split as follows:
