The Role
We’re looking for a Research Engineer to contribute to key projects within our Responsibility portfolio. You will work within a team of research engineers and scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining ML systems and tools, and ensuring alignment with Google DeepMind's broader strategy for responsible AI. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise in Machine Learning and Large Language Models, strong engineering skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively. You will work closely with research scientists, other engineers, and product managers to deliver impactful results and communicate progress effectively.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $166,000 - $244,000+ bonus + equity + benefits. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
