Grade: 8 £51,248 to £65,421 (including London Allowance)Appointments are generally between £51,249 - £60,269, however, a higher salary up to £65,421 may be available for an exceptional candidate for this role.

Are you an experienced Research Operations Manager ready to take the next step in your career to lead a large team across pre and post-award support and deliver a high quality service to our academic community?
If so we’d love to hear from you. You’ll join a growing team committed to improving processes and aligning them with our vision and mission around equitable partnerships and building high performing teams.
You’ll need significant successful experience of line management, a sound understanding of post-award processes and an awareness of costing and pricing methodologies and approaches as well as some understanding of underpinning principles such as TRAC. W
orking closely with the Head of Research Development and Delivery and our Senior Research Finance Business Partner, as well as other professional service teams, you will be committed to developing strong relationships with funders, proactively seeking feedback from our academic community and delivering a high quality service.
You will be a member of the Research and Knowledge Exchange Directorate’s Extended Leadership Team helping to shape the culture, ethos and approach within the Directorate and being a visible leader within the institution.
