The Forum engages the foremost political, business and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.
The Centre for Financial and Monetary Systems (FMS) is comprised of leading global and regional institutions from the financial services and investing industries, among other critical stakeholders. It engages this broad set of actors to design and develop a more sustainable, resilient, trusted, and accessible financial system that reinforces long-term value creation and economic growth.
Reporting Lines & Interactions
The role will be based in the World Economic Forum’s Beijing Representative Office, reporting to the Platform Curator of the Center for Financial and Monetary System (FMS).
Scope of Responsibilities:
Conduct desktop research on developments and market trends in China and globally related to the Centre's initiatives
Support centre initiatives in China, contributing to localising Centre’s initiatives to fir the China and Asian context
Support marketing and communications: keep bilingual marketing documents up to date
Support the design of Centre’s events: agenda setting, speakers outreach, content development
Support data maintenance
Provide support for ad hoc tasks such as translation, drafting meeting memos and etc.
Preferred Requirements and Experience
Bachelor or Master degree in economics, finance, public policy, international relations, or a related field.
Excellent communication skills
Native-level proficiency in spoken and written Chinese and English.
Self-driven with strong execution and follow-through capabilities
Attention to detail and perseverance
Working well around deadlines
Team-player and self-starter, who enjoys working in a highly dynamic setting with a matrix environment
Preferred start date: between September 15 and October 15,2025
